⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved this meal! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The sandwich was packed with flavor, the jalapeños added the perfect kick, and the chips were a great side. The drink was refreshing too. Great food, generous portions, and a really satisfying experience. Definitely recommend and will be coming back! 🙌

Great food, great drafts, and great pinball! My wife and I live in Abilene and we wanted to try Flipper’s Tavern while we were in town for her uncle’s birthday. She ordered the Supersonic and I ordered the Philthy Wizard and we both got the Gouda Mac n’ Cheese for sides. All of it was very tasty 😋 and the vintage pinball machines that were made into booth tables was very clever! The playable pinball machines were also a lot of fun. Well be stopping in anytime we’re in Lubbock.

Stopped by Flippers Tavern and tried the Supersonic hot dog. This thing is massive and loaded with flavor. It comes with a roasted garlic sausage, bacon jam, whipped cream cheese, sriracha, griddled onions, and fresh jalapeños. The combination sounds wild, but it all works together perfectly. The sausage has a great snap, the bacon jam adds a touch of sweetness, and the jalapeños bring just the right amount of kick. They also have a huge selection of beers on tap, so it’s easy to find something that pairs well with the food. The pinball-themed atmosphere gives the place a unique vibe that’s different from your typical bar. If you’re looking for a spot with great hot dogs, cold beer, and a fun atmosphere, check out Flippers Tavern. The Supersonic is definitely worth trying. 10/10, I’d order it again.

We visited on a Saturday before a big concert, when we got there, it was 1/3 full inside and busy on the covered patio. Cool vibe, tons of old pinball tops hanging inside and made into table tops, plus a few pinball machines you could play. Drinks came out pretty quickly, but the burgers and hot dogs took 40 minutes which we all felt like was too long. I got the patty melt which had a great sauce and flavor, the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese with French fried jalapeño on top was the star though. Tons of options on draft, and good prices, just need a faster kitchen.

This has been a quality establishment for years now. Always enjoyed it sporadically over the years as a local, but recently it’s been a staple. The Supersonic dawg is why I’m writing a review finally. Absolutely fabulous blend of spice and sweet, bacon jam got me grooving. And the side of vegan potato salad is exactly what I needed to pair with. Staff kicks arse, and I hear management is legit. The vibe is for real punk rawk mixed with folks that just wanna chill. For me, it’s nice to eat quality food over cooking and have awesome art all over to look at. Oh and pinball zen helps. Straight 5 star cause this meal caused me to spend time writing a review. Props and praise.
